On the website of the University of Ljubljana, there are summaries from the Slovenian periodical Kronika, nr. 3, 2001. with this summary of an article by Sergej Vricer, Ph.D in art history:
The Flags of Yugoslav Regiments on Slovene Territory in the Years 1930-1941
"Among important events in the history of units of the army of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia on Slovene territory belongs the conferring of regiment flags in 1930. At the beginning of the war in April 1941 there were on Slovene territory five infantry regiments with their flags (37th, 39th, 40th, 45th and 1st mountain regiment). With the disintegration of the army those flags became lost. The Maribor Pokrajinski muzej (Provincial Museum of Maribor) managed a few years ago to acquire the flag of the 37th infantry regiment which was before the war in Ribnica in Lower Carniola. That is, it seems, the only preserved Yugoslav regiment flag on Slovene territory."
I guess these flags were square tricolours with the state coat of arms (white eagle) all over within a virtual cricular space formed by four golden corner floral ornaments. The name of the regiment would be on a ribbon.
